Error Analysis Graphing Tool

Error Analysis Graphic tool

This web-based application was created to allow students to perform error analysis to data outputted from Logger Pro with the sophistication desired.

Teaching Challenge:

Physical Sciences 1, 2, and 3 presented an integrated approach to learning physics and chemistry in three terms. One of the features of the laboratory and lectures was that similar pedagogical approaches were used in all three courses. The laboratory experiments in all three courses used the same computers, hardware, and software. In particular, students used the software Logger Pro to collect and record experiment data. Logger Pro didn’t perform data error analysis at a sufficiently sophisticated level.
