“I teach the required undergraduate research methods class to sophomores.  It is the gateway course into the major.  I have taught it for 20 years, but a year and a half ago I had a PITF work with me for the summer to totally update the website and to enrich it with all kinds of materials for the assignments.  It really changed how I taught, made the class much more interactive and engaging and the size of the class doubled--I think because it got a very good reputation.”
