“We developed an application that plays a video (of an opera scene) and has the option of stopping the movie to ask specific questions. The students then answer these questions and continue. In this way critical listening skills are practiced with immediate feedback. The tool is easily adaptable to other forms of video-related teaching, and should be useful for many different applications.”
